Elle UK states that it’s not all that surprising since Lily is always seated first row at his shows, and barely leaves the house without one of her Chanel bags. Lily will front the new handbag campaign, and the two will shoot next week in London.

Rock & Republic Launches Cosmetics Line
Rock & Republic. If the name sounds familiar to you, it should. Rock & Republic has been at the fashion forefront with its edgy line of high class denim featuring the noted oversized "R"s on the back pockets. Last fall, the brand hopped effortlessly from fashion to cosmetics, and the results are fab.
The collection includes 10 categories with pressed powder, bronzer, eye and lip colors, and to-die-for brushes made from goat hair, sable and pony hair. The one thing missing from the line is foundation - replaced by a tinted primer and a tinted illuminizer.
The illuminizer (which sells for $48) allows for a luminous finish, with the help of light-diffusing polymers, and the primer (available for $46) has an SPF of 20, and gives a light matte finish.
The packaging is absolutely amazing. Each product is made from luxurious materials, such as silber, black patent leather, and swarovski crystals.

CARGO's blu_ray
I recently had the opportunity to try out Cargo's new blu_ray line of cosmetics.
The blu_ray line was actually created for make up artists working in high definition film.
I tried the blu_ray™ High Definition Mattifier, and fell in love with it! It's a luxurious, silky liquid skin "mattifier" that can be applied either over or under makeup to refine pores, minimize lines, and condition for a polished look. It comes out of the tube like a liquid, but quickly turns into a smooth, silky powder once it hits the skin. We found that it fills in tiny lines and pores, for a flawless finish.
I also tried the blu_ray Mascara, and really liked it. Instead of having a brush for application, this mascara comes with a 'comb' that perfectly coats and separates each lash. There was no clumping or blobs of mascara at the end of the wand. 
CARGO's Classic Lip Gloss features a strip that remembers when a product was first opened and alerts you when it is no longer wise to use it. Simply insert the Timestrip™ into the cap and it is immediately activated. As the months go by the Timestrip™ window gradually turns red and, when the entire window is red, it is time to replace your gloss. Celebrity Beauty
The one and only SALMA HAYEK is sharing some of the secrets behind her youthful looks. Word on the street is that she's developing a range of anti-aging cosmetics.
The as yet-unnamed line is supposedly inspired by Salma's maternal grandmother, former cosmetologist Maria Luisa, whose home-made potions kept her skin glowing well into her 90s. Forty two year-old Hayek is planning to recreate the line, which will be named in her grandmother's honour. Hayek told InStyle magazine, "When she died at 96, of course her skin had sagged, but she didn't have any wrinkles. She made her own creams using secret ingredients you can only find in Latin America."
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. I will say though, that I'm definitely looking forward to it. Stay tuned...
Sephora's Coming! Sephora's Coming!
Yes Ladies...it's true. No more rumours, the cosmetics Goliath also known as Sephora is coming to the fair cities of Vancouver, Coquitlam and Burnaby.
The rumours have been flying for months, and FINALLY last weekend as I was wandering through Coquitlam Center, I saw the giant "Coming Soon...Sephora" wall with my own eyes. No more rumours...no more unsubstantiated innuendo. WE'RE GETTING SEPHORA. My knees weakened, I felt all flush...I had to sit down. The best news of all? The Sephora in Coquitlam Center, is going to be right across the way from H&M!! I think I'm going to faint....
For those of you who take this "Monolith of Makeup" for granted, we Canadians are (suffice it to say) more than just a 'little' excited to have not one, but THREE Sephora locations opening in British Columbia. That's right...I said THREE. The one that I saw (and with my own eyes mind you...) was in Coquitlam Center. The second one is going to be going into Pacific Center in Vancouver, both of those stores opening in July 2009, with the third opening in Metrotown Center, October 2009.
Hmmm....whatever shall I buy first??

L'OREAL'S TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION
I'd been looking for a decent foundation that wouldn't strangle my wallet for some time. I started seeing those commercials for L'Oreal's True Match product, and one day while in Wal-mart (don't say anything), I actually bought one.
Now, I have fairly dark skin, and the shade that I bought blended really well. I found the product itself to be great at coverage, especially for those undereye circles that we sometimes get.
I've just run out (again) and seriously, I'm about to buy my 4th bottle. I really do like this stuff, and I think I've tried just about everything.
